| SHAPECiTY creator Jeremy Johnson would love to speak to your classroom or group! Jeremy engages an audience by introducing them to the world of SHAPECiTY and discussing shapes in an entertaining and educational manner.
A few of the topics and activities include:
NAME THAT SHAPE!
The audience will meet the SHAPECiTY gang. They will be asked to volunteer and name the shapes & colors of each character.
SHAPES IN THE REAL WORLD!
Another audience-participation activity. Through examination of real-world photography and even the room around them, the class will use observational skills to point out shapes in their environment.
MAKE A SHAPE!
Under adult supervision, the group will create their favorite SHAPECiTY character from materials provided by Jeremy (Construction paper templates, pipe cleaners, marker or crayons, etc. – appropriate materials will be discussed with the group leader in advance of the appearance).
